Looking for a good breeder

Hello all. Brand new to the forum. I have been looking at Boerboels for several years now, but I am finally getting serious about getting one.

I live in Minnesota and I have found a few breeders within driving distance.

From researching David Harris and Proffers seemed to get positive feedback. I also looked at Mid American as well out of Illinois. They have positive reviews on their FB page but didn’t see anything on this forum.

It will be a family dog and be in our home to keep watch . Is there any preference between a male or female for a family dog?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

I don't know much about BB but I have been watching a corso breeder that is also breeding BB now and I like his dogs. His kennel name is Jeff Kuntz and his kennel is Brickyard.

There was another breeder or two my rescue contact put me onto as well, Fuller BB or Darkwater BB

Thanks for the info, I will look into Brickyard as well.

I’ve reached out to Fuller, David Harris (from what I read very hard to get in touch with, Gallant, Proffers. Harris and Proffers are an easy drive for me and seem to get alot of positive feedback.

I was also going to reach out to Wilby.
