Lost my dog today.

I lost my Charlie today, had to have her euthanised after she was diagnosed with liver failure, she was 17. I'm gonna miss the sight of Bentley, my 150 lb mastiff following a 30lb poodle mix around the house. The house is very quiet without her. I got her when I was a kid really, just turned 18, so she's been a fixture in my life for just under half of it.

My sister, who shares the house with me, lost her Boxer/Whippet mix last month, so all of a sudden there's only one dog in the house, which just doesn't feel right.

Charlie was a great dog, about as obeidient as a rock, but full of charm and Ben and I are gonna seriously miss her.

Sounds like she was the resident Empress of the House if she had a mastiff following her around. It's hard to do, but I'm sure it was the right choice for her. Toast her memory, and don't forget to help Bentley cope as well.

I am so sorry for your loss, I know what you are going thru. Loosing a pet is so tough, just remember she is waiting for you.

It's been a few months now and I'm now mostly remembering the good stuff, Billie has helped me and Ben a hell of a lot though. Thank you for the sentiments expressed, they do help.
