It's not other software. However, now that someone else mentioned chrome, I'm interested to hear what browser the others are using.

I've never encountered a porn issue and I use both internet explorer and chrome browsers. It was when I was on a Chromebook when it happened.

Quite possible that someone has entered a false or broken DNS entry. Mastiff Forum IP address = pornserver.com's IP address. When you fall on a DNS server that knows the corrupted entry, you go to that address. So, if I make a bind server with bad entries, they will eventually get shared with other DNS servers, and cause misdirects.

Also if your using a Apple or Android device, there are a ton of exploits which can cause this, and it is increased greatly if you log onto public or hotel networks. Sadly Apples time of it was not a major player so no one wasted there time is long gone and Apple has been slow to admit there behind the times in security software.

In the U.S. the NSA, in Russia the banking system, and China's trade system have all shown, you can pay millions and people still get exploits in.
