Also, and this happened to my wife while visiting the mastiff forum, her phone became infected with a virus. The virus was very professional looking. It was a message screen that looked as if it came from Apple(she has an iphone 6 Plus) with a message telling her that her phone had been infected by a third party and there was a number to contact to fix the problem. She could not do anything with the phone. And she couldn't shut it down, get to another site, go backwards to the previous page, she couldn't do anything with the phone. So, she called the number they provided to find out what needed to be done to fix the issue. Well, they acted as if they worked for Apple or a service they use for these kinds of problems and they told her it would cost her $300 to fix the issue and requested ask of her information to do this. We instantly knew it was a scam. So, we hung up, called the Apple store and they told us that this kind of thing has been happening a lot with forums, especially when people are out and about and using their phone on unsecured networks. The fix was easy and didn't cost a dime. So, just be aware of this. If you ever see a box with a message pop up and you can't make your phone do anything be sure to avoid the scam attempt and can your mobile service provider.
