It's been a year since we had to let our Jake go to the rainbow bridge and we decided over the summer that we would start looking for a new baby. Well the moon and stars all lined up and we brought home our baby bullmastiff Bruce on September 15. He is now 9 weeks old and full of the devil. When he's awake he plays hard and won't leave the cat alone, but he is an angel when he's sleeping. He's super smart and already knows sit and is learning to stay and come to me. Potty training is going alright, he will go to the door if he needs to do his business and has only had one accident a day in the house since we brought him home (he forgets sometimes that he no longer uses a pee pad and will use a mat on the floor). We will be starting puppy classes next week so that will help quite a bit.

LOL, the cat was already sleeping there because Bruce was in the cats bed, he woke up and went over and curled up with Harry. Just adorable!

Thank you! No Harry loves his food for sure. I think he's really liking having the puppy around even though he is the new play toy for Bruce.

This is GREAT! I'm glad that you've opened your home to this bundle of fur joy. You and your husband exhibited the very best of what dog parents should be! Jake was loved, honoured, cared for, provided the very best of medical care AND, his story moved me to tears more than once. You were in my prayers many times. So, now I can rejoice with you...we can all rejoice with you!

Bruce is one very blessed little pup. I'm going to be glued to your reports and pictures...Ah, puppy time! There's nothing that can compare to snuggling a squirming puppy in your arms or the magic of them holding your gaze and loving you with their eyes. Puppy magic!
