I dont remember at 19 weeks though at 22 weeks my TM just weighted in at 55lbs if that helps. She also doesn't eat really but I have had 4 days of good eating in a row this week so far...so crossing fingers. They grow at different rates my breeder said the average is 10lbs a month is what she often sees. I usually just compare to Ruth's chart though Apollo is male but there isn't much else to compare too online. Ask about her siblings if there are any.

My boys a pain at the moment too! But he does eat more at night, he's about 6 stone (39kg) and can still feel his ribs and pins but I'm assuming it's because he's male.

Your girl is gorgeous.

10lbs or 2 lbs a week sounds about right until they are as tall as they are going to be then its a matter of filling out, which is a slower process. Moo is about 45kg and about 27 inches at the shoulder, but she is solid as a rock, no fat at all, in fact I wish she carried a bit more weight. You can feel her back bone, bum bones and she has a waist, you can feel ribs when you run you hands down her sides and she has a lovely under belly, very formed, tight and curved. She is heavy boned, great and sturdy shoulders. I would say she is an athletic build and looks much bigger in full coat but once that has blown you can she her true trim form. I wish she would add a few pounds and at the moment is eating well, which comes and goes and can not be relied on. Moo is very well exercised, off lead in fields and woods and on lead on street walks. Hence her trim figure, too trim for my liking but she is determined to be super model size rather than curvaceous, much to my dismay. lol.

so glad to hear I am not the only one Ruth! I hate feeling her back bone, it freaks me out and if I found a stray lab for example and could feel the back bone like I can with moo I would be seriously worried. you can feel her bum bones as well, almost like you would a dog that was malnourished, but she is so fat free is scary! and believe you me she gets loads of extras but she just doesn't seem to carry any extra weight. bear gets less than her and is a fatty! its so odd how two large dogs in the same house can be so opposite in build.

I tripled his fat content on his meals over the winter and he FINALLY doesn't have sharp hip bones any more.....but theres still no extra fat on him, I hear you!

Thank god for that I was panicking a bit, I hate the fact I can feel bones, got a shock the first time I bathed him

Its amazing what that fluff hides isn't it? Apollo's all muscle and bone. When the vet saw him in March (AFTER I finally got a little padding on those hips) she complimented me on keeping him slim......I didn't tell her that keeping him slim wasn't the problem.....

Thanks everyone. She has been gaining steadily at about 2lbs per week.

And speaking of what fluff can hide, look how skinny she is in her thudershirt. :p
