Muzzles

I need to order a muzzle, for Arty, not Apollo. But I think you guys will have better input for me.

I have no problem paying for paying for custom.

I DO want a basket style muzzle.

Heres where I get stuck. I like the concept of the leather basket muzzles, but this is the same dog who chewed through his ecollar in his first undrugged day after his neuter. He goes through heavy duty toys in a matter of minutes, seriously.

Whether leather or metal can anyone recommend someone who does good quality basket muzzles for smaller dogs?

I was looking at them the other day, they were metal and they were for larger dogs but they come in a variety of sizes. Don't know anyone that has them though although they are supposed to be the best ones out there.

Of course dean and taylor does muzzles, shoulda thought of that. I'll measure him and see where he falls in their sizes and see if that works.....

I'm going to go with one of the Dean and Taylor ones, similer to the learburg ultra baskerville in style but with its own collar type strap instead of attaching to his regular collar. His measurements make sizing a bit odd, but they're not completely off, so it should work.

Thank you! I figure once I've got Arty comfortable in one I'll look at getting one for Apollo. More as a precautionary measure as anything else, but that way IF it ever becomes an issue we're already prepared.
