My choices for names are far less complicated, I must admit. I really like "Bane"....and "Lettuce"--wow, that's great. I think I can say wow in reverse....let me think....oh yeah....WOW. And even upside down....ah......MOM. Have a great day, all. Thanks for the info about the names!

It is very interesting the way we find the name for our fur babies

Sunny was named Sunshine, at the time in my life I had great losses, had been in a bad car accident that left me unable to work, do much around the house and the med the doctors had me on didn't leave me with a lot of brain power.... So when we got Sunny....she was a ray of sunshine in my life....that's why she's named Sunny....
Bella - is short for Annabella, she was the runt of the litter...she was only 1/2 the size of the next smallest pup.....even with her being so tiny she reminded me as a Southern bell.....with spunk....that's where Annabella .... Bella comes from.

Dear Sheila, that must have been quite a car accident......I pray that you are back in the pink !!??!!

Yes it was. And Sunny was a huge part of my recovery......Inalways tell people that Sunny was my cure for empty nest syndrome....but really she brought so much joy into my life it pushed me to prove the doctors wrong. Thank the good Lord for bringing Sunny into my life

I always like human names for animals and always liked Jake for a dog so when we knew we were getting a male bullmastiff we were testing out a few names and a firm "Jake go lay down" rolled off our tongues perfectly LOL! Drives me crazy when people call him Jacob, I didn't name him Jacob, I named him Jake.

I'm partial to Gandalf and Gollum. Of course, I'm also a big time LOTR nerd.

Me too! Me too! Love it...so perfect! Waiting for the story about Gollum guarding and prizing his "precious." And Gandalf barring the way saying, "You Shall Not Pass!"
Sorry...got nerdy there...ah, but...such perfect names for the English countryside. Love it!

Bailey was her name when we picked her up, and she was so-so-so small and innocent, I couldn't take her away from her Mom and siblings and take her name as well, so, Bailey she is...but, had my husband had his way, she would have been Marilyn (like Marilyn Munroe.) Yuck! There isn't a bone in her body that reads: Marilyn! My husband plays that association up, and her collar and leash have the (fake) diamond look. As for her other pet names, she is: The High and Mighty Princess of Love, She Who Must Be Obeyed, Snarl-factus, Puddin' Pops, Pup-Pup, Mommy-Angel, Mommy Princess, Baby, Baby-girl, and, of course, Love Bug. There are other names, but.... Well, it would take forever to list them all as they change every day. ;)
