New harness

Bea has outgrown her origional harness (was good for dogs upto 100lbs), now inherited by Willa. So picked this one up for her - it's product made in Hungary, relatively inexpensive, and exactly the same as used by some Euro police forces so it's lightweight but strong, and fits comfortably. Google "Julius K9 Powerharness", comes in all sizes and colours, and has a nice attachment system for everything from seatbelts to side saddles and lights.

NIce! I just got one for Max. Size XXL. It just barely closes. I'm going to have to add an extension to the strap that runs around his chest. I just have to find a friend with an industrial strength sewing machine sew through the thick nylon webbing. Max's little tags say "in training".

Did you get one from this site? The xl should fit Max. I have one for Hector and I like it a lot. Super easy on/off and tough. You can get one with tags too, but I don't know how that will fit. That's what I thought LOL. Bea just likes harnesses, she'll walk calmly at your side when wearing one whereas with any kind of leashed collar, she'll stray more from your side.

I got it off of Amazon...supposed to fit up to 41 inches. NOT...I fixed it today though! I added about 4 inches of a 2 inch wide nylon web collar and reinforced it . You cannot even tell it's been modified. I'm adding a little fleece sleeve over the chest strap to prevent rubbing too. We're getting ready to go try it out at Lowes and practice for our hospital visits. He passed his "interview" with the policy lady. Now he needs 10 supervised visits to send in his official application for Love on a Leash.

I got a phone call right before we headed out for some practice. Apparently, he got a bit bored and decided to take a nap while waiting...
