Wondering why a officer wouldn't know the laws around service dogs, or if the owner is leaving something out of this story.

It would seem the story could be ended if the officer would man up and apologize given the out come of the investigation.

I did some reading on this since I live in New Jersey. Not all service dogs are allowed everywhere unless the person is blind. Looks like there needs to be a change made in the law since so many vets are now using dogs to help them. Either way...what the officer said to him is terrible and he should be disciplined for his comments.
