Poop question:)

What consistency is the poop that she's unable to hold? If it's not liquid diarrhea, I would contact my vet and discuss the issue. Fecal incontinence is a thing and can be from something like an anal gland issue, among other things. Large frequent poop would indicate, to me, that the food may not be the best formulation for her. Being unable to control her bowels when the fecal matter is normal consistency would definitely be something I would consult with my vet about. Unless I'm misunderstanding what you're describing, I say have it checked out.
You are right.
She has no diarrhea.
Thanks for advice.

Speaking of poop our Kahlua has had soft serve icecream the last few days and I couldn't figure it out... only to discover this morning that there is an apple tree in the neighbor's yard that has been dropping tiny apples into our giant rhododendron bush... When she crawls under she finds them and snacks on them. She brought one with her when my husband called her out from under the bush today... Now to figure out how to keep her from trying to snack on the darn things especially since I do know that apple cores specifically are dangerous. I had no idea that tree even had fruit (the apples are seriously teeny tiny) and it is right up against our fence.

The core isn't actually the problem the seeds are. Apple seeds contain minute amounts of cyanide. A dog would have to eat a lot of apples to get a dangerous dose of cyanide, according to my vet and I asked about a 70lbs dog (Jiggers). The diarrhea from too much fruit will occur long before any real problem with toxins can occur. Good luck with getting her to stop, I haven't been able to get Kryten to stop. He will be unhappy when he realizes that there will be no crab apples this year (it didn't flower).
