personally, i give raw beef marrow bones instead of pork, from what i've read the beef bone is harder than the pork

Pork bones are a no no. As a former vet tech, i have seen dogs die from the bones splintering and puncturing their digestive tract... The only bones that are safe to give are completely raw bones

I read an article somewhere online about feeding beef rib bones both cooked and raw with a bit of meat on them. Is this an okay practice? I would think the cooked would be, but question the raw.. And pork bones are as dangerous as chicken. My friend has a dog that managed to get into the fridge.. (now they child safety locks on it) and get into a dish of fried chicken left overs. It required surgery and was an all around bad situation.

Hi!, My EM's eat a raw diet. They LOVE raw beef ribs, I feed two or three together they don't actually eat the bone just knaw the meat off. They also eat whole raw chickens, I don't feed pork chops because the bones are so jagged, but I do feed them whole pork roasts and racks of pork ribs! :)
