Presa pup 15 weeks

Hi i purchased my presa pup yesterday and i got told she is 15 weeks old. Can you tell me if she looks the right breed for starters? Right height and weight for this breed at 15 weeks old? She is a brilliant pup i love her to bits already! Thanks for any information

IMO she doesn't look purebred just from first glance.. She has to much white on her chest, and there shouldn't the white "socks".

Beautiful pupy either way! And one thing I learned from the posters here is not to stress fitting the mold in terms of height/weight so early.. I was obsessed with it for the longest and am still trying to break free of that.

Weird i have seen alot of owners say there 5 month old pup isnt protective at that moment. My lacey is barking at the dog next door and her reflection already lol. And she loves to play tug of war! This is normal temprament of a presa? As id like to think she is mostly presa. And my other dog barks and growla at her as she is new and hes jealous but shes not phases shel bark back and bounce round him lol. I love her to bits i just hope she keeps her presa looks wen shes older as this is the dog i wanted. But if she doesnt ill still love her rest of her life. Only had her couple of days and shes an amazing puppy!

Well that's a beautiful puppy.Presas are hard to control when they are just reached breeding maturity. So you have train and socialise as earl as possible. They are not suited for first time dog owners. It is still early to call her a purebred presa or not.But the white markings are exceeded in the chest and belly area. That is a little concern. But sometimes even purebred presas have colouring issues. But she looks a little underweight for her age.Hope its nothin much cause you can't tell much by seeing a photo.Wish you and your pup all the best, eager to see her grow up to be a big presa canario.

Thank you she is a really nice/good pup. Ye since ive had her last couple of days shes been getting fed plenty. Shes on pedigree meat with my other dog. And shell be gettin odd chicken fillets/gizzards and maybe red meat/bones as she gets older. Shes going to get spoilt she is definately going to be tall! Shes long and tall allready she isnt going to be a stocky one which is making me happy. Even tho i like both types. I just hope she keeps the big snout. Wrinkles/nice head and grows into a nice tall bitch :) colours dont bother me as im not going to show her but i know what you mean. Ill keep you all who are interested up to date on her growth. And ive had mastiffs before ive had a old english mastiff who was 16 stone when he was one. He was a big boy! Been around rottweilers/staffs/danes and german shephards all my life. Love big dogs! :)

Can you tell me what you think about her mum and dad. I know they dont look full presa. Or do they :/? Can anyone tell me what breed they think these are if not? Thanks

hey your pups beautiful.........having been to grand canaria and tenerife a few time you would be surprised what you get in variety when it comes to presas.....people in the states are so concerned with book standards.....witnessed an arena show in tenerife and there were some of the most beautiful dogs with white blaizes....full chest .......partial muzzles......socks....etc....been the proud owner of these beautiful animals for the last twelve years.....watch out once they get you, you will never want any other......they cost me two rather expensive vacations......have a beautiful boy that is what i call "state traditional" very minimal white markings.......ever since i saw the rustic dogs of the islands i have wanted a pup with more of the white blaize and marking as they are so beautiful.......welll just picked him up saturday.......imported beauty...white blaize, socks, tail tip........less than the allowed 20 percent.......sorry started to ramble.....that being said beautiful dog love him and enjoy20131030_155317.jpg20131030_155139.jpg20131030_155150.jpg20131030_155159.jpg
