Pumice stone?

Has any one tried using a pumice stone instead of brushing? I ran into a local groomer tonight and she suggested I try it.

I have to admit, it did a great job. It made bongos coat much softer.

What she recommended, was the pumice stone that you would use on horses.

Just use the edge in short light strokes, like a petting motion.

I'll have to try that out. You liked it better than a brush? I usually use the Zoom Groom on my pups.

It works better than any brush I have tried for short haired dogs. I am using my experiences as a part time groomer in that statement, as I was married to a groomer for 10 years. So I have seen and tried lots of products.
