Shampoo?

I just gave Kryten a bath for the first time in a couple of months and wow it took a lot of shampoo. As a result I might be able to get one more bath out of his puppy shampoo. The type I use for Jiggers is designed to help keep his fur detangled which isn't a problem for Kryten. What type of shampoo works best for the short textured coat of a brindle EM? He has no skin issues but I would prefer unscented or lightly scented as I can react to perfumes. Thank you for you suggestions.

As a side note I never thought Jiggers would be easier/faster to bathe than Kryten. Lol.

Well, what I use on Apollo won't help you lol. This: http://www.beachbabybb.com/product_p/so-drtdog.htm is what I use on Arty. Love it. And I'm hugely sensitive to scents too. Can't speak as to how long it'll last cause Arty's 32lbs, but her other soaps are quite long lasting. She uses it on her husky so she might be able to give you a better idea as to how many baths you'll get.

Disclaimer: those soaps are made by a friend of mine, I don't get a thing for giving out her link, I just love her stuff.

I use an oatmeal based shampoo that I get from my vet. I can't remember the name off hand, but will have to look. It takes only a small amount to soap up pretty well and leaves his coat clean, shiney and smells nice!

The grooming shop I used to work in used either a baby powder or oatmeal shampoo. You can order a gallon of it & it needs to be diluted so it last you longer. It's made by top performance & they would order it from www.petedge.com. I loved the baby powder shampoo on my small dog. It made her so soft & had a perfect amount of after scent that left her smelling good but not overpowering.
