Should we be concerned?

We noticed these bumps on Diesels leg today when he came in from outside. Thought maybe it was from the cold but it’s been a few hours and they haven’t gotten better or worse.
Should we just continue to monitor and if it doesn’t go away take him to the vet or has someone had this and know a way to get rid of it or what it is?
    Thanks in advanced.

That looks like an allergic reaction to me.... maybe a bee sting?

as long as there were no other symptoms , i'd have probably put some cortisone cream on it and given him a couple Benadryl …….. if it didn't look better tomorrow , i'd call the vet .

Has the condition improved? I agree with Marke on the Benadryl. It usually works and is generally safe. If it hasn‘t improved by now, I‘m sure you‘ve seen a vet already. Keep us posted.

Yes, it looks like hives. Benedryl is a good call. I hope he's doing better.

He is doing much better! We monitored it for the evening and the next morning it was completely gone. We will definietely be watching to see if it ever appears again!

    Thank you for your recommendations!

I'm glad to hear it cleared up. In my experience, dogs that present with hives are more likely to have other allergic reactions. I would suggest making sure you have Benadryl around at all times and know the proper dosage for his weight. Ask your vet.
