Silly collar question

I can't find the answer to this in google!
I have recently bought Millie this collar and it's really nice. I'm a bit confused as to the D ring at the back of the collar though rather than next to the buckle. I can see it's in the right place for clipping the leash, but where does the ID tag go?! It'll be on her back!! There is not a ring at all by the buckle. Confused!!

A lot of collars aren't very serviceable with a place to put the ID tags. With this particular collar I would try to put the ID tags over the leather strap that holds the end of the buckle down. I don't really see any other place it would work.

I've never come across this before! I've put the tag on the buckle at the moment and that seems to be ok!! Thanks, nik!
