Site Optimization - Feedback Requested

I have made several changes to the site which should, theoretically, speed up the loading of pages, posting... basically the overall user experience.

If you notice any changes, either negative or positive (or even none at all), please provide feedback to this thread. I still have several more tweaks to make before everything should be complete, but I want to make sure that nothing, so far, as made any adverse affects. I also want to make sure that there is some type of noticeable difference in the speed of the site so that I can determine if modifications to the current optimizations are needed.

It appears to load faster. I like the capability to reduce the size of the side bar that would block viewing the pictures or videos in the post.

I've noticed this morning that when you show "forum read" it doesn't reflect that option on the main forum page. It shows those sub forums are still unread.

When I hit the FORUM tab, I'm logged out. When I hit TODAY'S POSTS tab, I'm logged back in. Threads are not updated after I have read the threads. It still shows up as unread.

Posts in other sections of the forum are not appearing after posting unless you refresh a couple of times.

It keeps saying that I have a new message and when I click on it an old messages open. UGH!!!!!!

CR, I see your post but did not see mine until after I refreshed. Looks like the database is not catching up to the recent activity.

Mine is not showing any new messages at all. It isn't telling me i have messages but then when I go into my inbox it opens an older message.

Seems to be working faster for me.

the only way I was able to get my messages was to go into my inbox and click the refresh button twice and then the new messages finally showed up. I have to do the same thing when I go into a thread that I have already read. It is the only way I can see the new posts. GGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRr

I have replied in some posts and it shows number of replies, but when I go back to see them they dont show.

Same here when you go back to thread hit your refresh button that should make them show up.

I'm going to try to get to this soon. The reason these things are happening is because almost everything is being cached and loaded from an older version of what you view, to save server resources and bandwidth to make things load faster.

That's why I made this thread to make sure I could get everything ironed out with it as soon as possible.

I won't be on a computer for just a little bit, so for the time being, refreshing the page, maybe multiple times will be the best option until I can look into it further.

I didn't realize all of this would happen though lol
