11 days...I can't believe that I'm now looking to next Saturday! WOW!!! I plan on documenting her growth through a series of pictures and progress reports. Of course, we are going to enjoy her puppy stage as much as we can because she is going to be HUGE so it will be fun to get the pics that we will not be able to get once she is full grown.

Well...from 12/31/10 to now...seems like forever but we leave this Friday to pick up our girl. I will post up some pictures, I'm sure she is HUGE already but I hope not too big because it will be fun to enjoy her while she is "small" in hopes of looking back when she is full grown and having a good laugh.

I have been reading the forums and feel a lot more informed than when I first signed up. My next post will be WITH her! :)

Ok, we made it home safe and I can now say...I AM an English Mastiff owner :) She is simply AMAZING...between the travel (8 hours in the car), stopping at a friend's house with a lot of people, and of course arriving at her new home. It didn't take her long to wrap me around her paw, I am blown away at how beautiful she is and how "sound" she is with confidence, character, and overall personality. We got to meet Kubota the father and he was amazing, I wanted to take him home too ha ha! Here are a few pictures, she is 9 weeks old so I will try to update ever few weeks.

Heh...I'm trying to get the pics in while she is small with us holding her, I will post more once we all get a bit more rest. Poor thing is worn out, she will not leave our sides, it is great!

As one might expect, she has not eaten much, she just had a small meal (first meal since she arrived) and I weighed her before the meal and she is 20.5lbs at 9 weeks.

Well, yesterday was my first day back to work since picking her up and I was curious to see what greeting I would get when I got home. So, I walk through the door and she's with my wife in the living room playing with her toys. I walked in and leaned down and she started to wag her tail slowly...then came up to me and curled into my lap. Then...she went nuts and just started going crazy and gave me about 1.7 million kisses. It was pretty funny and I now look forward to coming home quite a bit more than usual :) I will update some pictures when I get a little more time, she has us pretty busy but is doing incredibly well!

As I tell anyone who asks about her...these days very few things really seem to live up to their promise but she has completely blown our family away with how sweet, beautiful and loving she is. I only wish I discovered EM's earlier but I'm glad I did!

Ok, I figured I would update with some pics...I plan on taking some decent ones this weekend. She is just over 4 months old and 55lbs now. Amazing how quickly she has grown!

Thanks everyone! She is hysterical, each day she comes up with new ways to make me laugh, loving every moment with her.
