Spay complications or Urinarty Tract Infection

Hi All,

I had Miel spayed last Friday. I noticed she has some blood in her urine. The vet said this is common. It's been four days since her operation. Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced this? Miel is a DDB and weighs 130lbs., if that helps any. Also, she hasn't been lethargic or have discolor in her gums. Normal appetite and very active. I'm also wondering if this may be a urinary infection? In any case, I'm taking her back to the vet. Just curious if anyone else experienced this with any of their bitches?

Sorry, I don't. But I was recently talking to a friend who had that happen, went back to the vet and was nothing, just the healing process.
I would still be at the vet though, let us know what the out come is.

Thanks Cody. Miel is doing better. No more blood. She also killed two gophers last night . . . back to her old self, lol.
