If he eats any of it its in small enough pieces that it doesn't cause problems and isn't obvious in his poop. These are technically puppy chews so yes while tehy're supposed to eventually shred they're not supposed to do it this quickly, but he's got far stronger jaws than your average pup too....with the exception of the fins though it really does shred into tiny pieces.
