oh they are coming in to their temp already, they do not like to be touch by strangers, they dont even want to be near them either but they will stand with me on leash like the people dont even exist until someone trys to reach towards them then they back up and growl and bark at them, so it is there, they are just unsure of what to do because they are still babies. I have just started puppy boot camp lol, no more flat collars, went for a walk last night made it half a block they started acting like i wasnt even on the other end of the leash, so i turned around and took them home, yes i was mad as they have never acted like this before, so tonight we had on chain collars and it went way way better, i didnt want to strangle anyone tonight lol.
Its never really to late to rehome , it just means the dog takes a bit more time to warm up to you, i think when i do find a home for them i would spend some time at the peoples house getting the pup used to the surroundings and then after a couple hours i would leave or if that was not an option then the people would have to come hang at my house for a bit to get the pup somewhat used to them before leaving at the age they are at now. I would like to find 2 of them homes and keep one so steve doesnt get depressed, he loves his kids lol i have never seen a male like him with pups, hes mr mom!
Bro I can only imagine. I often say you would be better off talking to a brick wall than Kona if she is distracted. You have a gang of brick walls. ahahaha. My biggest issue now aint even human. It's the 3 danes next door. Fence fighting is almost a gang to them 3 and my 2. I often come out the house and they are standing in the one clear patch looking for my dogs. Or my dogs can be found in the same place but our side, looking for them. They just ruin the landscaping I put in in that spot. Knocked down a fresh 25ft tall bird of paradise and have up rooted sevral 300 dollar king lillies
LOL, interesting tidbit about the re homing the Fila, I thought they were pretty much a one person dog. If I weren't renting I'd take me a little boy home  I'd just have to throw food and run,in the mean time lol.
such wonderful pictures!they are beautiful.my breeder has kept the whole litter twice!both times it was a litter of 9, 2 yrs of each other plus the 9 other Filas she also has.within.she and I are great friends and it was lots of fun to go visit with 27 Filas not wanting you to get out of the car!
WOW, lol[/QUOTEI know, right!!she lives in the country with 200+acres and raises Herfords. Her dogs work and protect the property. The worst part was when they got old and started passing, way too many dogs to lose in a short amount of time.

She has my dream, land, cattle, dogs, now all I need are horses.
I can only imagine......I'd be sick. I can barely get over the loss of one dog let alone multiple dogs. How does she do it....I'd be a basket case.
It is amazing!I love to visit, but never want to leave. She has told me more than once, that just say the word and she will put me in a modular home and fence of some land for my kids and dogs!It is very tempting. She is devasted over each baby she loses.I could not imagine either. She has my dream, land, cattle, dogs, now all I need are horses.

I'd take that deal, lol. I just need to make sure I have a decent paying job and all is well
