anyone have any experience with them?

this is just an idea of what I am looking at, now i will have to do more research if they are actually safe in an accident or not before I actually consider buying one.

Neither of those is going to be big enough for an adult mastiff, fyi.

The only crate that I know of, thats passed crash testing, is this one: DOG CRATES: Double MIM Safe Variocage and I don't know if it could be installed in a truck bed or not. That doesn't mean that the one you linked too would be bad.
