I am so glad this phase is over for us. Brodie is now 13 months old and can get a grip on herself with a command or two. She was a Psycho puppy and tore my feet up every day biting at my shoes. Could not get her to stop-only when she was a bit older did she listen to a command to sit and wait to calm down. Like she defaulted to biting my feet until she was told to do something else. Now, when I come home from work, I immediately get a pocket full of food and start with sit/wait if she starts to shoe attack. It took a while. I also did the pressing of the lip lightly to the teeth above top make her stop as a last resort. My other 3 BMs never needed any "physical" correction-just words and treats. But she is another animal all together. It takes a while, my friend. Hang on- wine dulls the pain:)
