Weight charts for DDB?

Brian is a 13 month old male DDB pup weighed 44.1kg/ 97lbs.

A male at 12 months, should weigh what?

I knew Brian was underweight, as i could see all his ribs.
I am confident he wont end up fat living here. But wondered if someone can let me know what sort of weight i should be looking at 12 months male DDB.

Ive also seen folks quote height, how do i measure that, and what height should he be? will he be?

At 1 yr, how much bigger will he grow?
Im used to rotties, that are as tall as they get by 2, but between 2 and 3, bulk up to that ripped look.
Are DDB similar or what?

Ive been studying pictures on google. The adult DDB, seem to dip in very little at the waist. So if seen from above, they'd kinda look sausage shape, whereas Brian looks like a hour glass. With a real dip in around the waist.

He is just beginning to develop muscles you can begin to see on his thighs. This wasnt noticeable when we got him. But then again, he'd never been walked before we got him and chained all the time, so ltd as to what muscle he could develop.

I can see he's improving in condition. His coat is now shiny and no longer greasy. He no longer is a itchy scabby mess of yeast infection, the hair has partially grown back over most wounds.
Just wanting a ball park description of weight/height he should be. And what a 1yr old boy looks like please? photo's of yours at 1yr would be helpful if anyone has some to post. So that i can compare.

Norman is 15 weeks and 53 pounds lillie and Norman 012.jpg some of it depends on his lines he came out of,Norm is from larger lines, some of it has to do with how he was fed and treated when he was little. They are not supposed to me giant monsters. Don't force a weight gain or muscle building. It will come with age.

I know you adopted Brian so knowing his parents weight is probably going to be impossible to find out. There is no set weight that a ddb should reach by the age of 1 because it depends on the parents and the line the ddb comes from. For example, My Kujo just turned 12 months and is 94 pounds, but he is at the perfect weight for his body, so for Kujo, the answer is 94 pounds lol.

Sounds like Brian is making a great comeback, thanks to you :) try not to stress about weight, just look at body condition, right now we know Brian needs to gain weight, once he's at a healthy weight then that's the number he should be at :)

I like to keep my dogs lean. and healthy. Due to CCL injury in previous dog.
to me, Brian is looking absolutely fine, with 3-4 ribs showing.
His little muscles have started to develop, more due to exercise for the first time and diet that you can grow muscle with, ie. raw protein.
I think this is a new breed to me.
Having owned rotties and GSD's for decades, you kinda end up with masses of info about normal/not normal, when to stress, when not to.
New breed, new owner, no 'info in my database' driven anxiety.
