Well he did it! Odinson the guardian!

Well it happened! Mr. Odinson stepped up to the plate and protected the pack at training yesterday. He puffed up put up his fur barked like a man dog and charged the fence when the neighbors got close to it. He did not wait for back up at all and did not look behind himself. He stood his ground growled and waited for us to call him off. I really didn't think he had it until now as he is always such a friendly and goofy guy. There was a new girl dog Rosie, Jade's sister, his best buddy Bear an Akita, Jade and Jade's big brother Gauge and Odi just wasn't about to let anyone near his pack.

Chicken, hamburger and pork. 2 cups of TOTW kibble a day and a couple ounces of canned crappy dog food at night. I think he is 120lbs now 27" tall. 7.5 months.

Oh wow good for him, he is gorgeous!!

How much do you feed Odinson a day and you mix your raw with kibble? I was thinking about mixing his raw with some good kibble because the raw diet I have my Odin on doesn't seem like it fills him up.

In the very early morning I give him a half cup of kibble mixed with warmed bone broth and a small amount of hamburger (less than an ounce).
Later he gets a chicken leg and thigh and about a 3rd of a chicken breast with about 6 ounces of hamburger and another half cup of kibble.
In the afternoon he gets a chicken leg or thigh with another half cup of kibble.
Then at night junk food, after dinner scraps like left over rice or mac and cheese with a 1/4 can of canned dog food and maybe another half cup of kibble.
This is a total of about 2 cups of kibble plus the chicken and hamburger each day.

He's maturing nicely looks like he's coming out of the lanky phase early! Looking good.

How's his temp out in public?

Oh man his public attitude is awesome. We went to town last Saturday after class and in our village the tourists are very abundant. Must have been at least 500 folks walking around. No less than 2 dozen stops with people wanting to pet learn about and take pictures of Odi and Jade. Odi even got in and hugged a nice young lady and she was love struck with him. Even Jade (miss fun wrecker) was on her best behavior and did not growl at anyone. The only problem we had was when a Papillon dog tried to attack Jade. She did lunge back and scared everyone for about 50 feet around us with her growl. I told the guy to keep his unsocial dog away and under control and everyone laughed and relaxed. Well except the Papillon owner. But man Odi was just a champ, we had to pose for pictures around a dozen times.

I love Odi's face. He used to look more hound like to me. But I love how he looks. Esp the jowls!

Man to watch this dog play after class and wear out all the other dogs then he will go run the course all by himself. Goes through the tunnel, over the barrels, walks the balance beam and then walks over the teeter totter. Then he stops and looks at everyone like, "Well no one wants to play still?" And he always seems to want to please which is great for any breed of dog.

Tough Guy On Deck: be afraid... well, except during photo sessions with my adoring public, not then.

Handsome fellow there Mike. It's nice when their guardian persona matures. We're seeing changes here too. There's business on the end of the bark now.

Mike I love the looks of both your dogs. Odi definitely has that Mizpah in him. Is there a reason why his tail is docked a bit longer and others? I personally like the longer dock as they dont look so Rottie. In my search I have seen several different length docks!

With all due respect to Odi, Jade has the eyes!!! I just love her eyes!

Congrats
