What can I teach him next?

Hi everyone......I'm looking for some suggestions on different simple commands I can teach Kazmaier next. He has already learned sit, paw, down, leave it and drop it which I just use the same command as leave it so he knows if he picks something up in his mouth...I will say leave it..and he will just drop it. And let's see.....bed he kind knows but he really hates going there and usually when I say 'bed' he will fall down and roll to his back then I have to try moving him..all 45lbs of him and he goes limp ugh!

Anyway..I'm stuck now on what we can work on next while in the house. Right now when I give him a treat..he will automatically go thru each command he has learned without me even asking lol. Any suggestions and also, if you know of any good YouTube videos or links?

Thanks a bunch

Have you done stay, stay with distractions, stay with distance? What about leave it - putting treats on his paws and eventually head or nose? lol and the ultimate leave it - having the dog holding the hotdog in his mouth. Hand target is pretty useful for teaching more advanced tricks later on. Try spin, crawl, and speak :p

Touch 'get him to touch your hand or a stick with his nose'
Sing 'when he howls'
Back 'get him to back up or walk backwards'
Hi five ' easy if he knows paw'
Find it 'hunt for treat from stay position'

Heres one we use to help with ideas for Cas:

An heres some inspiration, we came across this last night:

And he was Cass at 9 weeks(might not work):

Xerxes does the lip licking when he is anticipating treats and has to wait while we make him work for it. :)

I love it! Thanks for all your ideas. It really helps when you have a video. What a clever dog and Cas is very smart for his age WOW!. I like the back up command and we still got to work on the stay command so I think those will be my next goals with Kaz. I like that idea about video taking. Think Ill do that and post here once were done.

So tonight we worked on 'stand up'. I did want to try 'backup' but he kept sitting down so I figured we better start with stand. He got the hang of it pretty quickly I'm surprised! Now just to practice to refresh his memory before moving on to the next step. I find the videos helpful but when it comes down to it...you just have to go with what's right for you and your dog. Some of these training methods are like a 2 or 3 step process and to me..for simple commands..it's just to much...just get to the point already. Anyway thanks again for all the great ideas.
