We were looking into something fun to do with kato. We are considering schutzhund but I have been running into problems finding a club near I live. If anyone knows one near johnstown, pa region that would be great so I can get him evaluated.
My concern with schutzhund is I understand that it is a high level of obedience and stability, but can he still come with us everywhere(pet stores, parks, families houses) because they are traind for PP?
He had a great prey drive and once he "locks on" to something he does this stare and nothing can break it except when i give him my happy talk, then he wiggles back to me.He loves to chase squirrels, but leaves small pets alone.
My concern is he loves everyone! He will wiggle his way to anyone that wants to pet him. He has however stopped a man from approaching me that seemed sketchy. he stepped infront of me and barred teeth and growled. Also he will not let anyone near the house when im home by myself.
If anything else seems to fit, id love to find something he enjoys and will thrive in.
