Winter fun.

At least someone is enjoying the blizzard.

The drift shown is actually the smallest inside the yard. Some of them touch his belly. Outside the fence they are even bigger.

That first shot is awesome!

I love that one.

This morning I had to literally shove him out the door. Apparently the cold isn't a problem when he gets to play with falling snow but is a problem first thing in the morning.

Still not the biggest drift.

Today wasn't as fun for Jiggers. Apparently the ground was way too cold. Less than 5 minutes after going outside his paws must have been cold/sore because he was lifting them and HE didn't want to play. I don't think I've ever seen that before.

What I want to know is this, did he push his face into the snow or is his face full of snow from snowfall accumulation?

I gave in a bought Jiggers a coat today. My 75lbs dog just fits an xxl, they so need to reevaluate their sizing.

Oh joy. Kryten has decided that the snow banks made by the plow needs to be told off every time he looks outside. This is the first time that they have had to plow the street in the 3 years I've lived here, normally it melts within 24-48 hours of falling. The deep freeze seems to have left but the chinook can start anytime now. I'm sick of the cold.

The joy of slow warming is here. All of the roads that had been packed down hard are now soft. Today I helped push out 10 cars from in front of my house. On a positive note Kryten loves plowing through snow banks that almost reach his head so somebody was having fun.

This is much more the typical southern Alberta winter. I don't know who was happiest about Kryten being at the off-leash, Jiggers or Kryten.
