Yogi's Workshop Sauri Collar and Harness came today!

And what did I do but run right out and take pictures!These are absolutely gorgeous and the craftmanship is wonderful. I opened the boxes and could smell the leather! The harness is great, totally adjustable, pliable, nice and light and the inside is lined so it's soft. I love the handle and it's just beautiful. This harness will last a lifetime and it came in time for Yogi's first Nosework trial on Sat!The collar is beautiful, too, it's a work of art. I would say that Yogi and I are honestly a bit intimidated by this collar, lol. It is REALLY big and heavy. I need to take into consideration when I see pictures of equipment on Mastiffs, that my Yogi is only a little bit Masitff, and only weighs 70 pounds. We'll have to see how he adjusts to wearing it. A collar of this size and heft might better be reserved for dogs of 100 pounds or more. It might get put up for Lillie to wear when she grows into it. Workshop Sauri was so helpful in assisting me with choosing a good harness to fit Yogi, and we got everything within about a week. They appear beautifully crafted and well made. I think the collar might be a lil much but really it's personal pref. If it doesn't seem to bother him I wouldn't worry to much. Plus i'd be wanting to show it off asap lol. IF anything Lillie will have a nice collar to wear!

Gorgeous! I have a weak spot for hand-crafted leather work: bags, shoes, collars... I was hoping to be able to afford an Oli collar someday; Sauri's work seems to be on par with his...

If I were you, I'd probably go with Sauri since it arrived within a week. Oli is known to have long, long waiting times.

I am not well versed in leather work at all, I don't know that before this I've ever bought anything hand made, but I went and looked at Oli's collars, they are really beautiful as well! I think the Sauri collars have fewer embellishments but the beauty of the leather really shines through.

Those are gorgeous! I really like the harness. Was that just the standard harness or did you have anything custom added?

I did not have anything added. There are a couple different styles, one just like the one I got, only with a studded breastplate instead of the straps. They recommended the one I got for Yogi and it fits perfectly. The harness was not overly expensive, I've spent more buying multiple harnesses from Petco and such that didn't fit right... Well worth it!The customer service was really excellent, too. Responded to an obnoxious number of emails from me, even asked that I send a pic of my dog so they could recommend a good harness for his build...

We are happy to hear how Yogi and you are satisfied with our products. As you noticed yourself, we do care very much that our customers are happy ( and their owners also :D ). And of course, we always make sure that it is the perfect fit for your dog so it will be most comfortable. And for the others, who might be interested :D I would like to say one more thing - Every Sauri collar from the premium collection is a UNIQUE product meaning that there will never be two collars that are the same, so the collar that you purchase is always authentic!

Oh my, both the collar and harness are BEAUTIFUL! The collar truly is a work of art. I will have to check them out!
