Hi everyone.

My SO's co-worker is rehoming a Japanese Mastiff (Tosa Inu) pup and we are most likely going to get her in the next couple weeks (before the end of the month).

We've both had rescues before (mostly labs and german shepherd/mixes), but this is a different dog than the lab mixes we are used to.

Is there anything we should do different to prepare for her? We already have a vet and a kennel that we respect. My good friend is the kennel owner, so I know I can always ask questions of her.

Just wanted to get some ideas from people that are around Mastiff breeds a lot.
