    Default Hi

    Hello,
I'm new to this site, and very excited to talk to other mastiff owners. I live in a small town and not alot of mastiff owners around. I have 3 english mastiffs. Well, I guess I really have 10 mastiffs right now. My female just had 7 beautiful puppies. I do have a question for anyone out there that can help. I have a 8 month old female that was purchased with the intent to breed that has recentley been diagnosed with chin pyoderma. My vet gave me some surgical scrub (chlorhexidine) to clean the chin with. And told me to try (ha ha ha) and keep the chin dry. I was concerned that this may be a genetic/hereditary concern in regards to breeding, but he didn't seem to think so. Any comments or info re: this would be very helpful. thanks
    Sarah
