Default New to site and new to mastiff owning

Hello everyone, brand new to the site and giving a small introduction. My name is Ryan, and Im a few weeks from purchasing my very first mastiff. I've admired this breed for a long time now, the size, the appearance and the demeanor so Im very excited to have a new addition to my family. Im a single father of three young kids, and a firefighter for the USAF (civilian). Im getting and english mastiff, the breeder is a reputable breeder of chihuahuas but has lived with mastiffs her entire life, this is her first litter of them. The lucky guy I chose is a fawn, 2 months old as of the 17thstakes and currently weighs 22lbs and 11oz. I don't really have many questions now but one, and that deals with nutrition and food, I've done some research and I know about the ingredients (by products, fillers) but the nutritional values have me stumped so Im sure that will be the first set of information Ill seek.

Well, I look forward to my life on the forum, I know how great of help it can be as I used forums for my veiled chameleon as well since that was new parenting to me, never thought so but Waldo, my chameleon, is probably more tedious then a possible 200lbto dog could be lol.

Hi and welcome! Congrats on your new pup! You can find many threads about appropriate foods for mastiffs in the nutrition section. I will spare you my spiel right now but if you have specific questions that you need answered please ask away!
