Thread: Meet Orso, the Horse , Bear Hybrid.

Default Meet Orso, the Horse , Bear Hybrid.

    Yeah, He likes to Laugh!

Here I am when I was a Brand new Pup. Just 8 Hours old.

Then 3 weeks later, my Foster mom introduced me to Another Milk, and I blew up like a balloon.

Here I am at 6 Months old, being curious!

And here I am at 10 Month old, trying to lay on my mothers lap! Its not quite working out the way it used to. Wonder what happened?

Here I am at 11 Months old, playing with my best friend, the cat! I weighed in at 97lbs a month ago, and My Mom thinks I am 110 lbs here.

Now I just turned 1 year old, but Im still growing faster than a Horse, I even love carrots like a horse!

No one in the house can pick me up long enough to weigh me anymore, plus our scale only goes to 300lbs. Daddy Weighs 185lbs, and when he holds me on the scale, the scale just spins and screams. So My Daddy thinks I weigh 120lbs or so. Won't he be surprised to discover I am not done growing! Whats even more surprising, is that I am Half French Bordeaux , 1/4 Lab, and 1/4 Wire Haired terrier. My Mother only weighs 48 lbs. But my Daddy weighed over 200lbs.

In other news, we took Big boy to the vet. The vet says he weighs 80lbs according to the scale. Neither of us believe it, but we literally were holding him down on the scale, while he tried to scramble off. The vet put 80-90lbs in his file, he said that back leg probably weighs 10lbs hahaha.
We had to Muzzle him , and have me and 2 female vet tech's hold him down and hobble him, before the vet would come near him. It was a male vet, and Orso thought he was entirely too close to us. Big boy is going in to be Neutered on the 21rst of Feb. We wanted to wait untill 18 months old, but the City has sent Animal control over to tell us, Fix him now or else. The only reason we got a warning was because we were able to prove the other 4 animals in the house were fixed. Animal control drives me nuts. Why cant they go bother people who do not bother to get any vet care for their animals and chain them up all day?

Hello and welcome to the forum.
Why the muzzling and hobbling? I take it he is aggressive towards the vet? Is there a reason for that or is that how he is with all strangers?
That could be why animal services showed up.
Not sure about other places, but here there are no laws about regarding whether an animal is fixed or not. Although the licenses are more $$ if they are intact.
