Hi everyone,
Just thought I'd introduce myself and my little pack.
I got here through an announcement of sorts on pitbull-chat.com. I am also on a pitbullforum.com, where my screen name is "myskja", so hello to anyone I know from there.
Speaking of pit bull forums, I have a pit bull who is possibly a pit bull mix. His name is Kell (his full name is Brunkell, which is Old Norse for "brown or sandy-colored helmet", due to his relatively huge skull).
My second boy is a Cane Corso who I adopted from a shelter at 5 months old. I was told he was 10 months old and a Neo/pit bull mix, but as it turned out they were wrong on both counts. Unfortunately, he was fixed way too early and is a bit rangy for a CC. He's typical of the breed, but a little on the high-strung side, my problem child. His name is Draki, my "little dragon".
My girly-girl is a fairly new addition, a roughly 2 year old lady from the CC rescue. I haven't found the perfect name for her yet. She is beautiful and seems to have a perfect temperament, and I couldn't be happier with her.
Besides these guys, I have three cats (one of which has turned out to be a long-term foster - anyone interested in a handsome Maine Coon mix? ), and a very pretty but rather dim little corn snake.
Glad to be here!
