It almost looks wart-like... how old is she? Canine Papiloma Virus (CPV) aka "Puppy warts" comes to mind.

Is that the only bump? CPV tends to travel in groups. Denna had it as a puppy - when she was 6-7 months old - and had maybe 6-12 warts, total. We used Thuja and Lysine along with her good diet and lots of rest... no visiting with other dogs (CPV is highly contagious among puppies). Hers cleared up in about 5 or 6 weeks, as expected, no vet intervention required. But... make sure that's what it is first... that one bump could be something else, too.

Here's one site that discusses CPV: http://tails-a-waggingdogblog.blogspot.com/2010/02/canine-papilloma-virus.html

She is 7 months old, thanks for the information! I read the article and I will examine the rest of her body when I get home, thank you :)

The vet looked at it today and said it does look like CPV. He wants me to wait for more to appear to confirm that’s what it is. If it is CPV, he said no intervention is needed. If it changes, gets bigger, or starts to bother her then he told me to bring her back. Thank you!!

Her bump kept getting bigger, started turning colors (white and dark red), and another bump showed up on her chin, so we made an appointment with the vet. The vet sedated her and diagnosed the bumps as CPV (you were right) :) . He “crushed” the bumps, he explained that it will make her body attack the virus and build immunity to it. They also microchipped her while she was out. The vet-tech was trying to convince me to spay her as well. I stood my ground and told her that we are waiting until at least 18 months. :)
