Well, Howdy Folks, we are basking here in London, Ontario in the brightest sunniest day you can imagine, and because there is a healthy blanket of snow on the ground, the brightness is almost painful. Got to love it. Bailey is CRAZY for snow, so we went out for a walk (might as well call it a roll) on this bright snowy day. I bet she rolled 10 times over the hour, and when she wasn't rolling, she was eating mouthfuls of snow like it was ice cream.
Days like this are the best for the dog park, though with the sun beating down the field starts getting very icy, so we stick to the woods and the trails. Lately we have taken to playing hide and seek with Bailey, both my husband and I taking turns and then yelling "Find Mommy" or "Find Daddy." Funniest thing you've ever seen, especially when we hide behind trees that aren't thick enough to hide our girths. Bailey runs towards us, and then stops dead in her tracks and just stares, like, "You've Got To Be Kidding Me! I Can See You, Silly Human!"
Here's hoping you are all getting out and soaking in the sunlight. Ah, Sunny Days! I can hear the old Lighthouse song in my head, still great 40 years later.
