I have him in puppy classes and puppy playtime, he is doing great in both. Loves meeting other dogs and people. Still working on walking on a leash and his listening skills, he gets distracted very easily. The biggest issue we are having is he won't leave the cat alone, Harry is very patient with Bruce and in his own way loves having a new brother, but is getting tired of being used as a chew toy. We are consistent and it's starting to pay off, he occasionally will walk past Harry without attacking or allow Harry to sleep in the same room.
He is such a sweet boy and a lot more active than I remember Jake ever being as a puppy. It's been exhausting over the last 5 weeks, but so worth all the effort because he is going to be an amazing dog.

Here are some pictures from the last few weeks.

Tired puppy is a happy puppy!

I'm not sure why all the pictures posted like this and not the text that I had written and I can't seem to delete and redo the thread.
Anyhow, Bruce is growing up! He's 13 weeks old now and 38 1/2 pounds! He's been exhausting and a joy to have around. His energy drives us nuts at night when we want to relax and he has his zoomies. I take him to puppy class and puppy playtime, he loves meeting the other pups and people. He's learning quickly and has some of the basics down (as long as I have a pocket full of treats). We are still working on leash walking, but every walk is a little better. We are also still working on housebreaking, there are good days and bad days, so far we've had a couple of good days. It's when we start to trust him a little too much he runs off and pees in another room.

Yes, we've had a couple of good snowstorms, those pictures were just the start of the first one. Right now we have no snow, but are expecting some over the weekend.

Bruce is so adorable...good luck with all the training. I remember how hard and exhausting it can be. He looks very alert and that means very active! Zeela was not....I was happy about that.
have fun with Bruce, I wish you all the best and lots of love...can't wait to see how he is growing.

I'm gushing puppy love! He's so adorable. I wish I had more and better pictures of Bailey. The puppy days go by so fast...and puppy breath, and puppy paws, and ahhh....PUPPIES!

I'm so very glad you've been blessed with this little man. I know Jake is smiling down, he knows his Mom and Dad will be well taken care of...Oh, and the cat...Hee Hee Hee. Well, he thinks eventually the cat will be glad it has a big brother who can look after the whole family.

Hugs to all, and keep the pictures coming!

Yes we do go fishing with the boat, it's great for trolling around a lake. We'd like to try to get Bruce into the boat in the spring and hopefully take him with us when we go fishing.
