I have an 11 week cane corso and I just got her ears cropped about 2 weeks ago and her stitches out about 1 week ago and they are healing perfectly but her ears are laying flat on her head idk what to do as I have nevr had this problem with any pst dogs with cropped ears and I am very worried that they will get stuck and nevr stand if anyone has any reason why they are like this or what I can do to help them stand it will be highly appreciated!!!

Hi.

You have to post them!

What other breeds and type of crops have you had that didn't require posting?

Some Corsos with that typical short crop don't require posting and the ears will stand (from what I've heard). Others do require posting. I would post so that you don't get stuck with a cropped-but-flopped dog.

If you need instruction on how to post, let us know!

I have had many American bully’s in the past with cropped ears that have been posted and nevr had a problem with standing soon after ... her ears are not cut short enough to stand on there own after cropping, we only cut half an inch off .. her ears were posted right after cropping for almost 2 weeks until she ripped it off ... i would like to go shorter lile the typical corso cropped ears after she is done healing ... should I post until then ???

Hey there. I would've responded sooner, but I've learned things move very slowly around here and I only log in every handful of days.

So, only 1/2 inch of ear leather was trimmed off your Corso's ears? Seems to me this will be a very long crop for a Corso! Maybe I'm missing something.

I'm not sure what you mean by: "i would like to go shorter lile the typical corso cropped ears after she is done healing ... should I post until then ???"
