Hello. My name is Victor, just signed up, I live upstate NY. We have 2 male English / Fila mastiff brothers, 9 months old. Their father is a 235lb English mastiff and their mother is a 180lb English/Fila mastiff. We got them when they were 4+ months old and have had them for 5 months. They are great dogs and have adjusted well. One was the pick of the litter and is humungous and the other is the runt of the litter, he is a little guy.
I take them for weekly trail walks in the woods and wanted to get them backpacks so they can have a job (as I have read its very beneficial for them to have a purpose and job and not just to slobber on my couch).
The big guy is just too big for the ones I found on amazon. He has a 31 in neck, is 31 in tall at the shoulder, has a 42 in chest, and weighs about 190+ lbs Im guessing (he was 181 about a month ago at the vet).
Can anyone tell me if they got one of these backpacks for your mastiff , where you got it, and if you like it ?
