Oh no! I am so sorry to hear that. The first pictures looked like they were doing so well. Is it her prey drive? Poor little guy. :-( Tell that girl to stop being such a bitch! How are you working with them on it? I know how stressful that can be. When I brought the first puppy home when I had Duke (APBT, 18 months at the time) he had horrible prey drive and he seriously wanted to kill him and it was horrible. It took some real time and patience (I almost just gave up for fear of the new little guy) but not only did we eventually work it out but they ended up being good friends, though, I always had to separate them with toys, bones and food. I sure hope everything gets better with them. Keep me updated.
I have full blown attacks at my house. They can not even be in the same room together more then 5 minutes before Sadie attacks the little guy. And we are not talking playing, Sadie goes for the throat. He is so scared of her that he will not even walk past her. I have to carry him. They can not go outside at the same time or Ace will not go potty. He has been attacked mid-poop a few days ago. I am stressing a little.

I think it is a combination of her prey drive and her not feeling well. She does not do well with high stress and him barking (a lot) does not help one bit. She likes it quiet and low key, at least that is what I have figured out. As soon as he goes down for a nap, she is her old self again.

Magnum is pretty noisy when he wants to play, too, he will get right next to Rugers head and bark endlessly until Ruger will play with him. There have only been a few moments that Ruger has lost his patience and even then he has managed to control himself and only scare Magnum and not hurt him. I sure hope they start working it out a bit. Maybe she just needs some time to get used to him?

So the grandson goes back to school this week & tells his all of his teachers he went to grandma's house to play with her Rugers & new little Magnum, & explains how he likes to nap with Rugers...

I love the pic with your grandson--he is probably the most secure feeling boy ever.

I hear parent teacher conferance in your future lol

I could look at the pics of those two all day long--skrew the book--do a documentary so we get an hour or two of footage.
I'd be in the front row!

LMAO! He does talk endlessly about Ruger and his Mimi. If he weren't so lear as far as communication goes, I wouldn't be surprised if the school called concerned about me allowing a 5 year old play with guns. He does tell everyone "My Ruger is a BEAST!" He and Ruger have been best of friends since I brought him home. Thank you so much. I will be doing good if Magnum gives time to drink my tea in the morning so I am not hopeful yet for stories.
