I had a problem where Kryten lost weight as a puppy too. For him I realized that it occurred at the two times I had him on poultry based kibble. There were also a couple times when he had worms that also affected his growth. When it was food related I had noticed that his stool went from firm to liquid over a span of about a month.
The first thing I would check is that he is parasite free and then I would look into a new food.

I have him on blue buffalo now. I'll take him to the vet and make sure he is parasite free. Thanks

I know Blue was too rich for Jiggers when I tried feeding that to him as a puppy so that could be a cause as well.

Benny has had the runs for two weeks because I'm a dumbass that listened to someone at petsmart. He had me get lamb and rice Blue buffalo. Second ingredient is oatmeal.
"oatmeal is a good grain. Mastiffs aren't allergic to the good grains"
Anyways I switched to Taste of the Wild. Benny is doing way better now.
