Can any of you tell what kind of mastiff this is?

I was on the web page for my local shelter and they have these two little puppies (2 months old) listed as mastiff mix puppies. I am going to see them tomorrow but was wondering if anyone could tell me what kind of mastiff mix they think they are. I know you cant be sure by pictures but any thoughts might help!

Im not seeing mastiff in there. Did they have any reason to beleive they were mastiff?

I have not talked to them I am going to see the puppies tomorrow and ask them. I agree with you thats why I posted the picture I am having a hard time seeing the mastiff in them. I guess it might help to know what they are mixed with but right now im just not seeing it!

It is very hard to tell a breed 100% at such a young age anyway, but they look like they have pittie in them

They look very much like boxer mixes to me, they're too solid for full boxers.

Boxer hmmm don't know but the darker one certainly looks like an Akita cross.

I would believe Boxer Akita.... I'm guessing the rescue has the mother and she must look like a mastiff or mastiff X.

I worked at shelter and, if they don't know the breed, they just make a wild guess and are usually way off

...have had Boxers...I don't think there is any Boxer or Mastiff of any kind in the mix...I can possibly see Akita or Husky...
