    We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.

Can anyone help me recognize if this is a TM puppy (2 months old)

I'm not sure how to properly link, i'll just copy paste imgur linkhttp://imgur.com/a/1br8IMother is a mixed dog (big) and i was told that the father should be a tibetan mastiff, but it's not 100% sure.So i'm asking here if its true.He is 2 months old and weights about .i'm feeding him 200g of kibbles (2 cups) through out a day (4 times).He is still peeing inside the house, altough i'm always trying to get him out once he is peeing, i'm guessing he can't quite control the bladder yet. He has a problem of biting bit too hard, but i've watched youtube videos and i'm training him everyday. He already knows how to sit/lie down.Any helpful tips will be appriciated.Thanks!

The formatting doesn't work on the forum so it's not your fault. By your explanation he could be anything lol. He does look to have TM features for sure. Potty training can be tough. My main advice is this. Don't give them to much freedom to soon. IF you can't watch them 100% of the time they need to be in a crate or in your enclosed yard where they can't get into trouble. @8 weeks they need to be taken out every 2 hours or sooner until they get the idea where to go. The more accidents you allow inside the harder it will be to train them and the longer housebreaking is going to take. Here's a video I like to reference for this. Thanks!I do have a enclosed area for him to be, since i'm working outside at the yard, he is mostly there and he also likes to sleep outdoors, since its colder in there.On day time i usually have no problems. But at night he never seem to give any warning when he is peeing, altough if he wants to go out to poop, he goes to the door and starts whining. So i usually wake up and let him outside.Altough i'm not sure if this is ok to let my dog go outside alone? Will this give him too much freedom to get outside while whining at the door?

Hey guys, thanks for all the replies. Didn't know this post got traction, since it doesn't email me when someone responds. Didn't even think about a rottie mix. I agree that the face looks nothing like a tibetan, but tail/color pattern and ears do look like one. Here is a side shot, he has a funny formal look here. To clarify even more, the pups mother is a yellow colored mixed breed. I'm thinking about Shepherd/lab mix. So i guess this is where my pup is getting the shepherd mix looks from, not sure about rottweiler though. Tail definitely looks like a tibetans, it's fethered and curled towards its body. Guess i'll just have to wait few months and see how hes growing.

Here to compare and my girl and she is not one of the super fury TMs either (not long coat) but still pretty fuzzy at that age. 8.5 weeks, she was about 17 or 18 pounds but came form a litter of 11 so they were a bit smaller at first especially since there was also a cesarean, she will be 3 in Dec and is 124 now. Not sure the weight of your guy because the sentence cuts off but he reminds me more of my GS I had, I see where they get Rottie mixed in there too. The curly tail is the only odd part that does not fit you are right. Cute pup I just don't see TM. Caita who use to be on this form has pictures of her pup that is part TM/Golden Retriever maybe look up hers and see if he looks like that at 4 months.

Yours is really cute. The only reason i though mine is TM is because the owners told me it could be one. I started hesitating aswell when i saw the the fur is not as fuzzy and head muzzle is totally different. But tail definitely looks like a tm, i'm not sure if any other breed has a tail like that?

A lot of northern breeds do huskey etc. Akita does. I am not sure if his dad is a tm or not, just doesn't look like it but maybe when he grows. Genes are a funny thing. He is cute Anyways and he is yours. If he is a tm be prepared for him to possibly go in to temperament after 2, even the lady who had a half tm explains her tm nothing like a normal golden anymore and you got to walk them carefully.

It won't let me edit that but that walk carefully is a typo. Should just be you have to be careful especially on home territory.

Haha yes, It would probably be best for everybody if he didn't have TM traits.Having a dog with TM traits who doesn't even look like one would be a nice kicker.Soon i'm going to start socializing classes with him, because he got taken away from litter bit too early and he is biting too hard. Oh and i don't know if he is lazy or just playing with me, but on some days when i'm teaching him the "stay, sit, lay down", he just looks at me and probably thinks "Really? You want me to lay down??" Then he very slowly lays down and pretty much has a face of "Alright now give me the damn treat already"
