Cane Corso is very very small

Hi,

I have a Cane Corso named Riley who was born in June 2012 so is now a little over a year and is very small. She is only 78 lbs and drops several pounds every week no matter how much we feed her. She somehow almost has pit bull terrier ears which is very annoying because the breeder that we purchased her from was recognized by AKC and has been around for awhile. Her dad was around 130 but still growing and her mother about 115 with grandpa Bel Monte Keno di Godiva at 170 if it matters. She has been tested for worms and everything's normal so I have no idea whats wrong. The only time she gained a little weight is in raw but my parents refuse to pay for it so I end up paying for the food which is way too much for me because I am only 16. She is also very lean and she's so small people think she's a boxer thanks for your input.

she looks looks like a cc too me but she may just b small with females they can b any where from 80-130(120+ being very heavy) so dont worry bout it just make sure she loved n remember cc arent fully grown until at least 2

She looks CC to me but really can't tell how small she is without seeing her standing up. You can post pics to a post by clicking the picture frame with the tree in the task bar.

Like grazefull said, she is female and they can tend to be smaller. Remember, mastiffs continue to grow until about 2-3yrs old. She may have a growth spurt at about 2-3 yrs.

I wouldn't worry, some are just on the smaller size. If you can't feed raw are you feeding her a high quality kibble? My girl is almost 2 and on the smaller size of 83-85 pounds, she's been this weight for almost a year. She had large parents and litter mates as well, but that doesn't always mean much. She looks all Corso to me.

Sadly, no they aren't but I wish they were. They have all been friends since puppy class all the way through getting their CGCs and we still hang out every now and then

My girl was 90lbs till she turned 3 and in the last 8 months she's gained 10lbs and she's now 100lbs

She looks good to me. I would not worry so much about her weight unless she stops eating, drinking, pooping, peeing and playing.

It was a home bred cane corso, told to me born on 3 oct 2022 , it's 5 dec 2022 , i bought her on 27 nov 2022, he was just 2 kg on 27 and the ears are short as well, I'm not sure that if the puppy is mix breed or the puppy is malnourished, it had many worms whic lh i dewormed on nov27 and untill dec 2 worms kept coming out in faces, I'm attaching pictures pls help me out on this. The mother and father video is also attached, i need help on what to feed , I'm not concerned if it's mix breed but i certainly want to know, i don't want to bloat him up with food, or starve him to malnutrition. Pls help

Looks like a french bulldog, definitely not looking good... food won't help, nor will starvation.
