Canicross

[Tosa]

I fell in love with canicross few weeks ago and started training it with my dog. We joined local Sleddog Sports Association and had our first training few days ago. Canix originated as a way of training and maintaining fitness of sled dogs but as it became more and more popular, it is now sport separately.

The main thing you have to teach your dog is to pull and most dogs love doing this. It wasn't a problem for Tosa at all.. The problem was with me, because i couldn't keep up with her pulling so hard and running so fast The funniest thing is that i am a regular half marathon runner and she just killed me yesterday. I think i've never ran so fast

Canicross didn't work for us. Dog didn't want to pull and it hurt my back. Yes I bought canicross gear.

Lol Hector I will order only harness for now and borrow other things until i see if it works for us. She was in the mood with other dogs around her pulling but i still have to try it with her alone.
