Reason for pooping & peeing in house?

out of no where, Raistlin has started going to the bathroom in the house! I'd think marking or bladder infection if it was just urinating, but he's also started pooping, and they are in random places. Thinking it's one of two things? First is he's bored... he also starts barking at random times... weather has made it difficult to walk him consistantly and I'm the only one that will play with him in the house but dont have time for it everyday or Two: my daughter & her boyfriend just moved out and even though they rarely spent anytime with him (kept to themselves in thier room) he may be acting out because a part of his pack is gone? We also had to lock one of our cats up in a room until her spay surgery because shes been spraying my Grandaughters toys and clothes so maybe hes reacting to that as well? Any insight, advice?

How old is he? My guess would be either boredom or the cat spraying as if he were marking.

It's mostly in the now vacant room my daughter was living in... my last dog would pee in there when my son was in that room, guessing he never cleaned it right & maybe Raistlin is marking over that? But that doesnt explain why he's also pooping in the house!? He gets taken outside anytime he asks (whinning at door) and that can be several times a day, sometimes every hour...
