Challenge time...

A friend of mine who has a EM and CC started doing this little challenge last year. More to be stupid and find little ways to one up the other. I did the annual one today. A 3 min video of me clowning, showing of my "crib" etc. all the while Solo sitting by the egg sandwich. Anyway, my buddy posted his response and took it to another level by going outside, walking around his house and coming back in to his dogs waiting by his Cuban sandwich. All the while hamming it up. Good stuff.

I need to redo the challenge and add leaving the room... but here was the first try - we don't test Denna on this regularly (or ever), so she REALLY thought this was just a "wait" practice, and that she'd get the 'ok' to eat the cheese by the end of the exercise...

This also shows my use of the word "no"... so, if ya'll think I'm abusing my dog by telling her 'no' I guess you'd best enlighten me! :)

We did another try and I left the room - the first attempt she did try to swipe the food (leftover salmon this time) when I had her walk by it - and needed a reminder (same simple 'no')... after that, she ignored the plate completely, no matter where I put it, or where I had her move to. She's a smarty pants, and not too into pushing my buttons or testing limits (today, anyway). :)
