Critiques on my pups parents

The pics aren't the best, but I was hoping to get some opinions on Elsas parents. Her moms 1/2 OE and 1/2 Neo and 2 1/2 yrs old in the pic, and her dad is all Neo and is just over a yr old. Thanks!

I don't know much about Neos so I can't really critique. The mom looks more like 1/2 EM 1/2 Black Lab or Rottie to me.

One year old is pretty early to breed these guys as he's not even mature yet.

there is nothing really to base a critique on with the mom, but I agree with above, she doesn't look like a neo x EM to me. As for the dad, from the pictures there is really nothing to go on. Can't see his structure or his expression from the pictures posted. A year IMO is very young to breed a male or female. He hasn't finished growing, so a critique on an undeveloped male is not fair.

I'm sorry, but I don't like the dad being so young. They bred him as soon as they could for a reason...
Other than that, can't tell on him yet because he's not filled out. And I can't see really anything on the female other than to see she's a Neo.

Thank you for your replies :). I don't know the weight on either. Elsa was the only black brindle pup who matched mom. Her litter mates were either silver or fawn. I agree dad was too young. It wasn't a planned litter. The temperaments of her parents were what convinced me most to get her though.

I have to agree with the above posts. The mom doesn't look Mastiff to me,,and the dad, while he does look Neo,,was too young. That being said, though, how about some pics of your baby?? And congrats!
