Greene,
What are you looking for in a Dogo?
Just a pet or actual working one?
If working what do you plan on doing?

I have a few friends that are Dogo breeders

I'm looking for a pet I suppose would classify it as. I became interested in the Dogo when I sought for not only a companion but also some protection. I'm not looking for a vicious dog nor will I ever train the Dogo to become mean, just to clarify. When searching for a breed I wanted a clean appearance, a short coat, and an athletic build as I like to bike, run, hike, and boat with my weimaraner. With that being said, I also want a breeder that completes and passes all of the necessary health tests for a Dogo, including BAER testing. Truthfully, I was considering a Doberman, but find it hard to locate a breeder I do not question with a litter ready to go some time between April and June. Its a very quick timeframe and I know that that short of a timeframe may be impossible, but I am determined to find my perfect pup.

Hunting may be an option for me, but hunting for foxes, not boar. I'm not sure how any of you feel about that, but if that doesn't seem possible for the breed to hold the fox rather than kill it please feel free to let me know. If there are other breeders outside of the US that are also reputable and can crop, I'd be willing to import too if the price does not exceed $3,000.

Well good luck
I know overseas breeders but it will exceed your price your willing to pay and also most US breeders too bc of
- pup cost
- crate
- health certificate
- ear cropping
- flight to get to you

Please do not think that all is included in price.

Also you might be better getting a hunting dog than a Dogo. If you want to hunt fox. I would like to know your purpose to want to hunt them?

I know hog catchers eat the meat, hunters who use hunting dogs eat the meat. But are you gonna eat fox?

Anyway best of luck in your finding a Reputable Breeder with a litter on the ground with all you want

Marcello is the best. Have never heard a bad word from anyone about him and his Dogo's. While I do not have a Dogo, if I were to get one, it would be from him. I do hunt hogs twice a year in TX, and have seen one of his pups in action. Even if you are looking for more info on the breed, Dogoman is the one to talk to.
